Some days it feels genuinely useful. Other days it's confusing, overhyped, or quietly unsettling. Most of us have questions we haven't quite known where to ask - not because we're behind, but because these are genuinely new questions and the honest answers are still being worked out.


The Human in the Loop is a regular community gathering in Edinburgh for professionals and business owners living through this shift. Not a conference, not a course. Just a room full of people at different stages - some building AI into their workflows, some still deciding whether to bother, some just trying to cut through the noise.

You might come with something to share.


You might come with questions. You might just want to be in a room where other people are asking the same things.

What happens on the night?

Doors open at 6:30 pm. At 7 pm we come together as a group. Sessions include a short informal presentation from someone in the community... and then we have open discussions, share experiences and tips and have human to human conversations.

There's no entry requirement beyond an open mind. The conversations here are for people at every stage - the curious, the cautious, and the ones already running experiments.
